A marketplace app from invisible to cited in two weeks: 21 → 65 on the Citable Checker

AgentesVA is a marketplace app that scored 21 / 100 on the Citable AI Visibility Checker — effectively invisible to AI assistants. In two weeks of foundations-first GEO work — structured data and schema.org, FAQ markup, an external Crunchbase entity, and a Google Business Profile — the score climbed to 65 / 100, crossing from Invisible into Patchy presence. The engagement is still active.

Story overview

AgentesVA, a marketplace app, went from 21 / 100 (Invisible) to 65 / 100 (Patchy presence) on the Citable AI Visibility Checker in two weeks — through the cheapest, highest-leverage structural levers, in the order that compounds fastest: schema.org, FAQ markup, an external Crunchbase entity, and a Google Business Profile. Engagement active.

The starting position

AgentesVA is a marketplace app. When we ran the Citable AI Visibility Checker on it, it scored 21 / 100 — “Invisible.” For a product whose growth depends on being recommended, that is the worst place to be: the AI assistants a growing share of buyers ask first could not identify the app, describe what it does, or cite it. Nothing on the domain was structured for a model to extract, and there was no independent entity record tying the brand to anything verifiable.

What we did, in order (two weeks)

Foundations-first — the cheapest, highest-leverage structural levers, in the order that compounds fastest:

  1. Structured data + schema.org. Marked up the product and the organization so models can parse what AgentesVA is, what it does, and how its pieces relate — the base layer everything else references.
  2. FAQ markup (FAQPage). Added question-and-answer content matching the prompts real users type, in both visible HTML and FAQPage schema, so answers are extractable verbatim.
  3. External entity — Crunchbase. Established an independent, third-party entity record and wired it into the sameAs chain. This is what lets an AI resolve “AgentesVA” to a real, verifiable company rather than an ambiguous string.
  4. Google Business Profile. Claimed and populated the profile — a high-trust surface both AI engines and search lean on to confirm an entity.

Where it is now

Two weeks in, the Citable Checker reads 65 / 100 — up from 21, crossing from Invisible into Patchy presence. The foundations are in, and the score is already in the range where AI assistants begin to surface the brand for relevant prompts.

What’s next

This engagement is active. The foundations sprint is done; the next arc is the slower, compounding work — deeper content extractability, off-site authority, and entity reinforcement — to push from Patchy presence toward a Solid baseline. Updates will be published here as we re-audit.
